The Airshow was originally scheduled to
occur on Saturday the 28th, however poor weather pushed the event to Sunday. The
winds were slightly high on Sunday, however not enough to prevent us from
jumping.
The day started out with an opening flag jump by Chris with Wade, Tom, and John
accompaning him. This was an awesome jump as the Super Cessna was the lead
formation plane with two others flying smoke! It was an awesome view. The
airplanes circled Chris as he descended under canopy.
The first DC3 jump was the North Dakota 17-way record attempt which completed
successfully on the first attempt! It was a great jump and everyone flew
expertly.
The second DC3 load was both a POPS record attempt which almost completed and a
PUPS attempt which did complete! Overall it was a great event!
